The Honors Program offers Honors Students merit-based scholarships in order to relieve financial pressures and allow students to focus on their studies. Scholarships range in value from $1000 to $2500 per semester (fall and spring semesters only). The amount of the scholarship is determined based on the strength of the student's application to the Honors Program. All Honors Program scholarships begin following the IEP and are automatically renewable for the duration of a student’s undergraduate studies at Blitstein Institute.
Honors Program scholarships are awarded by the Honors Program Committee based on academic performance and potential and do not affect a student’s eligibility for financial aid or impact the amount of financial aid awarded, up to a zero balance.
In addition to the Honors Program Scholarship, Honors Program students receive a tuition waiver for the Leadership Honors Seminar (3 semester hours).
After their first year of studies honors students are eligible for additional merit-based scholarships awarded annually to continuing students.
Honors Program students are also eligible for on campus employment as science laboratory assistants, library assistants, IT assistants, and peer tutors.
Honors Program students may request reimbursement for fees associated with attending workshops and conferences that support the students’ personal or professional growth, subject to the approval of the administration.
